EO Melbourne Chapter News

June 2025

Hi ,

Well… here we are.

Twelve months, dozens of events, hundreds of connections—and one unforgettable journey.

As I wrap up my time as EO Melbourne President, I’ve been reflecting on what a privilege it’s been to serve this incredible community.

We kicked off the year with a clear theme: Member Value.

And every decision, every event, every conversation was shaped by that focus.

From our NEXUS Chapter Retreat in Phuket, to Speed Networking and whisky tastings.

From Kate Reid of Lune Croissanterie to world-renowned author Ryan Holiday, to boxes at the Australian Open and private dining at Society—this year has had it all.

But what’s made it truly special… is you—our members.

Your willingness to show up and engage.

Your openness to share deeply and vulnerably with one another.

Your commitment to growing—personally, professionally, and as part of something bigger.

Thank you for trusting me with this important role.

It’s been the most intense, challenging, and rewarding leadership experience of my life. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

To the EO Melbourne Board and our Chapter Professionals—you are the unsung heroes.

You’ve volunteered your time and served our community with purpose and authenticity. Thank you for your tireless work behind the scenes and for believing in EO’s mission—to enable transformational growth in the lives of our members.

To our incoming President, John Bevitt—EO Melbourne is in exceptional hands.

I can’t wait to support you as you take the reins and lead us into an exciting new chapter.

And while I’m stepping down as President, I’m not going far—I'll be continuing to serve on the EO Melbourne Board as your Marketing and Communications Chair.

I hope to see many of you at next week’s Elite Performance Intensive with Itamar Marani.

And a final reminder to register for our Annual Awards & Gala Dinner—happening at The Ritz-Carlton on Saturday, 21 June 2025, from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm. It’s going to be a night to remember.

You might not have seen the news…after the formalities, join us for exclusive After-Gala Drinks from 10:30 pm til Midnight at The Lobby Lounge, Level 80 of the Ritz-Carlton.

Capacity is limited to 120 guests and entry is first-come, first-served—so if you’re planning to join us, head up early!

Our community is thriving. Our momentum is real. And our best days are still to come.

Let’s finish the year strong—and I’ll see you on the dance floor at the Gala.

Cheers,

Costa Vasili

President (FY 2024/2025)

Startup to Scaling Up and Fireside Chat with the Hon. Julia Gillard AC

Help us grow EO Melbourne by inviting a standout entrepreneur to Startup to Scaling Up and Fireside Chat with The Hon. Julia Gillard AC on Wednesday, 23 July 2025, from 11:45 AM to 5:00 PM. This exclusive event features Australia’s only female Prime Minister in an intimate fireside chat, plus a powerful panel of women entrepreneurs from EO chapters across the country.

It’s an ideal introduction for Melbourne-based founders with AU $1.5M+ in annual revenue who value growth, connection and shared learning. We have just 40 seats for qualified guests—invite someone who’d be a great fit: https://www.eomelbourne.org/vip-event.

Help expand EO Melbourne’s network of Strategic Alliance Partners (SAPs) in industries such as banking, luxury used car dealerships, hospitality, outsourced HR, outsourcing agencies, and videography, because strong SAPs lead to better programs, more networking opportunities, and greater value for Members.
