March 2024

Greetings and welcome to the March newsletter!

March is an amazing month as it signifies that we only have ⅓ of the FY left to achieve our lofty goals! I hope that you are on track for your best year!

We are excited to be hosting our Annual Family Day on 13 March, with almost 200 registrations, so far! This will be a great opportunity for your whole family to connect with our amazing community. So if you still need to register or be on the waitlist, put your name down. The rest of the year is very busy with events culminating with the end-of-year gala in June!

The board recently completed our half-year strategy summit. We had Jay from TCR deliver leadership training, and we welcomed the incoming board members to attend and start their contribution to the chapter. Our strategy for the rest of the year is now set and we look forward to finishing the year with lots of exciting events.

Costa and I have returned from the President's Summit in Manila which starts the handover process. I am excited for our chapter and for Costa as we prepare for his year as President! Next year, I will still be involved with the Chapter Board as co-forum chair with Jacob Spencer.

Finally, I want to let you know that I have been successful in my application to become Area Director and will join Damian on the regional council after my term as President.

ACCELERATOR - We will have another Accelerator Info Session during the Scaling Up - Learning Day-Execution on 7 May 2024, from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm. Prospective entrepreneurs can also attend the Learning Session from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm and join us for lunch. If you know of entrepreneurs who qualify and are interested in our Accelerator Program, tickets are complimentary but are limited. Encourage your prospects to express their interest at our Accelerator Info Session page.

We will also have an exclusive Accelerator Breakfast coming up on 2 April 2024 for Accelerators, Committee and Coaches, so please check your inbox for the invite.

MEMBERSHIP - EO has recently launched the 2024 Member Referral Rewards Campaign and now's your chance to share the EO love with fellow entrepreneurs. From now until 15 April 2024, refer prospective members for the chance to win big. Each referral earns you an entry to win a US$1,000 voucher for an EO event, with 10 vouchers up for grabs across EO regions, allowing one winner per region. Plus, chapters can vie for a free strategy summit by converting the most leads to paid memberships. Winners will be announced on 30 April for EO members and by 10 July for chapters.
