EO Melbourne
Chapter News - September 2023

Greetings and a blooming spring welcome to our September newsletter!

I wanted to remind you that we are already 16.67% through FY24 and in reality, if we each take 4 weeks off at some point like over the year, each of us is likely to be 25% through FY24… are you where you need to be? Lots to be done, so let's get into it!

Melbourne is a world-class city. This is one of the reasons why the Global Entrepreneurs Congress is being held here at the MCEC from September 19th to the 22nd. There will be over 4,000 attendees here for this event! Our own president-elect Costa Vasili will be leading the delegation there and hosting an exclusive event on the final evening in partnership with EO Global. Good luck to those attending!

Recently, we launched our Mentorship program for this year with 23 super high-level external mentors who are mentoring 23 EOers for the next 10 months. This program is an incredible way to get even more from your membership, and if you have not participated I strongly encourage you to sign up for the next intake. I myself am a mentee for the second time this year!

Last week, I attended my first-ever EO Executive Education Course on the Gold Coast at Bond University. Our very own Carlo Santoro is the visionary behind the course and the globally esteemed Professor Justin Craig is the course instructor, who delivered world-class learning. He will be here later this year to deliver a powerful and impactful workshop to our community where you can learn more and sign up for next year's intake!

Governance is often misunderstood; this can be a limiting belief! Getting the rules of the game right and the guard rails in place is critical to avoiding problems down the track. As we move forward with building the best chapter and community, we need to ensure that our governance is fit for purpose. Thus, we will vote on changes to our constitution at the upcoming AGM so stay posted.

We have spent the past two months working on rolling out Monday.com to the chapter staff and board members in order to modernize and streamline the running of the chapter and the board. This will set the stage for our continued growth.

Here is to your Success!

Warm regards,

P.S. As always, I am on 0400835248 give me a shout if you want to chat.

The chapter was buzzing with excitement as the acclaimed Verne Harnish, legendary author, speaker and Founder and CEO of Scaling Up, a global executive education and coaching company, made a spectacular comeback. The whole room was alive with anticipation and enthusiasm as Verne took the stage for a one-of-a-kind event all about Mastering Pricing and Compensation.
This day ignited with inspiration as entrepreneurs gathered for a captivating workshop guided by Allan Dib, the ingenious creator of Successwise and an esteemed member of EO Melbourne. Known worldwide for his acclaimed work, "The 1-Page Marketing Plan," participants enjoyed an engaging exploration into the craft of shaping and perfecting marketing strategies.
