Chapter News - October 2023

Greetings and welcome to our October newsletter!

I trust that everyone enjoyed the fantastic contest in the Grand Final and is enjoying the sunny weather that we had over the weekend!

As we have heard, your network equals your net wealth and we want to unlock the hidden power of connections! In order to enhance the member experience, we have launched an Alumni membership program. Already. over 20 high-contributing ex-members have expressed interest in reconnecting with our chapter. Well done, Tom, for leading this initiative and being on the lookout for new/old faces at some select upcoming events.

Leadership is the best product of EO – I have heard this many times and I have to admit that I am a living example of this phenomenon! It is amazing how much you learn and grow in a leadership position in EO. I want to point out that EOI for the chapter board positions for next year has been sent out via all of our usual channels and I encourage you to apply for the path of leadership within EO.

Founders in the Sky event at the GEC
EO recently hosted the exclusive "Founders in the Sky" event at Crown Melbourne's Skybar Lounge for GEC delegates and EO members. The Global Entrepreneurship Congress (GEC) is an annual event that unites entrepreneurs from over 200 countries to foster a global entrepreneurial ecosystem through networking and learning. This year, GEC took place in Melbourne, Australia.
Diversity & Inclusion Strategy Day
The Diversity & Inclusion committee of our chapter convened online for a Strategy Day, focusing on enhancing EO Melbourne's Diversity & Inclusion directions and strategies.

Former Zambrero CEO and TWIYO Founding Partner Stuart Cook conducted the 'Unlocking Success' masterclass at the Olsen in South Yarra. In this exclusive chapter event, Stuart shared priceless wisdom about board dynamics and strategic leadership, offering a definitive roadmap to achieve business triumph.

Accelerator Strategy Day and Membership Session
