Greetings and welcome to the April newsletter!
Melbourne has recently joined the elite club within EO as a MEGA CHAPTER! Huge congratulations to all the staff, volunteers and members who helped us to make this happen! We are closing in on 200 members and are now the largest chapter across Australia and New Zealand!
Fall has come with a blast, and April and May continue to be busy from an event’s point of view. Everyone would have received their renewal email so I encourage you to jump on and renew for what will be our most exciting year!
In addition, the annual GOAT Year survey will be out very soon. This survey is a Melbourne innovation, and the data from this survey will be fed to the board before our annual strategy summit to make sure that the board activities are aligned with what the members want.
Finally, I want to mention that the incoming board is off to the Global Leadership Conference in Singapore from the 21st to the 25th. All the best to Costa and his board with their training, in preparation for their year of service. The official board handover takes place in May and we celebrate another year of Membership at EO Melbourne at the handover Gala in June.
Registration for the very special firewalking event is now live today! There are only 50 spots available so best be quick and register to have this experience with your forum. Everyone who successfully walks the coals will receive a video of yourself to share and keep!
