Greetings and welcome to our December newsletter!
Our EO Christmas Long Lunch is fast approaching, and we are expecting over 130 attendees at the Port Melbourne Yacht Club in this most popular event in the EO Melbourne calendar. Moreover, it is going to be the halfway mark through the current financial year.
So far this year, we have made some amazing progress on updating our chapter constitution and bylaws, launching our Alumni Membership program, creating a Belonging committee and launching our own version of Diversity and Inclusion, as well as initiating the Chapter Leadership Training program with our Strategic Alliance Partner, The Coaching Room!
The upcoming Australian Open is not to be missed this January. We have more events lined up in 2024, so stay tuned.

COMMUNICATIONS - Want free PR for your business/personal brand? Participate in the national EO PR campaign by submitting your response
below. We have four topics at the moment, and the press will run in CEO Magazine, Women's Agenda and Kochies Business Builders. Get in quick before all spots are taken by filling this out.
FORUM - Congrats to 'The Grateful Bunch' (KEP forum) for winning the Q1 Forum Cup! In Q2, the competition restarts for a shot at the $1,500 prize. October's leadership workshop for Moderators by the Coaching Room was a success, showing our dedication to leadership development. Remember the great submissions for The Values Awards. Nominate EO peers who embody our values for recognition (and contribute to Forum Cup points 😊).
MEMBERSHIP - The Membership Chairs ended the calendar year with our Chapter membership just shy of 180, nearing our target of 200 members for the year. Kate and Jeni are actively recruiting individuals who align with EO's Values and seamlessly integrate into EO Melbourne. We have a Membership Information Session planned for 7 February 2024. If you know someone in your network who would benefit from joining EO Melbourne, kindly direct them to our event page to express their interest.
